Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has released Advertisement No. SCL:DR:01/2026 dated 24 October 2026 for recruitment to 83 regular vacancies. Educational Qualification
Administrative Officer: Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline or MBA/equivalent in HR/Personnel Management, along with the prescribed relevant experience.
Accounts Officer: Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline or MBA/equivalent in Finance/CA/ICWA, along with the prescribed relevant experience.
Purchase & Stores Officer: Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline or MBA/equivalent in Material Management, along with the prescribed relevant experience.
Junior Personal Assistant: 12th Pass from a recognized board, with the required stenography speed and transcription skills.
Technical Assistant: First Class three-year full-time Diploma in the relevant discipline or the specified First Class degree for applicable disciplines, with two years of post-qualification experience.
Technician-B: Matriculation/SSLC with two years ITI in the relevant NCVT trade or the prescribed National Apprenticeship Certificate/National Trade Certificate, with two years of post-qualification experience.

Age Limit
- Administrative Officer: Not exceeding 35 years
- Accounts Officer: Not exceeding 35 years
- Purchase & Stores Officer: Not exceeding 35 years
- Junior Personal Assistant: Not exceeding 25 years
- Technical Assistant: 18 to 30 years
- Technician-B: 18 to 27 years
Age will be calculated as on 30 November 2026. Applicable category-wise age relaxation is as per Government of India rules and the SCL notification.
Salary Details
- Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer and Purchase & Stores Officer: Level 10, Basic Pay ₹56,100; approximate monthly emoluments ₹1,06,740.
- Junior Personal Assistant: Level 4, Basic Pay ₹25,500; approximate monthly emoluments ₹48,780.
- Technical Assistant: Level 7, Basic Pay ₹44,900; approximate monthly emoluments ₹83,700.
- Technician-B: Level 3, Basic Pay ₹21,700; approximate monthly emoluments ₹41,940.
Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (where applicable), Transport Allowance and other admissible benefits are provided as per rules.
Application Fee
- Group A Posts: ₹1,500
- Group B Posts: ₹1,300
- Group C Posts: ₹1,200
The fee includes a non-refundable processing fee of ₹600. The application fee refund is subject to the conditions specified in the notification for eligible candidates who appear in the Computer Based Test.

- Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer and Purchase & Stores Officer: Computer Based Test and Personal Interview.
- Junior Personal Assistant: Computer Based Test and Stenography Skill Test.
- Technical Assistant and Technician-B: Computer Based Test and Skill Test.
