State Bank of India (SBI) has released Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/23 for engagement of Specialist Cadre Officers on contract basis in the Wealth Management business.
A total of 207 vacancies are available across seven different posts, including Zonal Head, Regional Head, Relationship Manager-Team Lead, Investment Specialist, Investment Officer, VP Wealth and AVP Wealth.

Zonal Head – Qualification & Experience
Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory. MBA in Banking/Finance/Marketing with 60% and certifications such as CFP, CFA, NISM V-A, NISM Investment Advisor or NISM 21-A are preferred.
Candidates should have minimum 15 years of experience in managing sales in Wealth Management, Retail Banking or Asset Management Companies, including minimum 5 years of experience leading a large team of Relationship Managers and Team Leads.
Regional Head – Qualification & Experience
Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory. MBA in Banking/Finance/Marketing with 60% and CFP, CFA or relevant NISM certifications are preferred.
Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in relationship management, preferably in Wealth Management with leading Public, Private or Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms or AMCs, including 5 years of experience leading a large team of Relationship Managers or Team Leads.
Relationship Manager-Team Lead
Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory. MBA in Banking/Finance/Marketing with 60% and CFP, CFA or relevant NISM certifications are preferred.
Candidates should have minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in relationship management, preferably in Wealth Management with leading Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Broking/Security Firms or AMCs. Experience as a Team Lead is preferred.
Investment Specialist
Candidates should possess a professional qualification such as PG Degree or PG Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science from a recognised College/University, or CA/CFA.
Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience as an Investment Advisor, Counsellor, Officer or part of a Product Team in Wealth Management Firms or AMCs is required.
Investment Officer
A PG Degree/PG Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science from a recognised institution, or CA/CFA, is required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience as an Investment Advisor, Counsellor, Officer or part of a Product Team in Wealth Management Firms or AMCs is required.
VP Wealth
Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory. MBA in Banking/Finance/Marketing with 60% and certifications such as NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFP or CFA are preferred.
Candidates should have 6 years of experience in sales and marketing with leading Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms or AMCs. Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role in Wealth Management is preferred.
AVP Wealth
Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory. Post-graduation in Finance, Marketing or Banking and certifications such as NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFP or CFA are preferred.
Candidates should have 3 years of experience in sales and marketing with leading Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms, AMCs or SBI Wealth CREs having 4 years of experience. Relevant Relationship Manager or similar Wealth Management experience is preferred.
Age Limit
- Zonal Head: 35 to 50 Years
- Regional Head: 35 to 50 Years
- Relationship Manager-Team Lead: 28 to 42 Years
- Investment Specialist: 28 to 42 Years
- Investment Officer: 28 to 40 Years
- VP Wealth: 26 to 42 Years
- AVP Wealth: 23 to 35 Years
Age is calculated as on 31 August 2026. Upper-age relaxation for reserved categories is available as per Government of India guidelines, where applicable.
Salary / Annual CTC
- Zonal Head: Up to ₹97.00 Lakhs per annum
- Regional Head: Up to ₹66.40 Lakhs per annum
- Relationship Manager-Team Lead: Up to ₹51.80 Lakhs per annum
- Investment Specialist: Up to ₹44.50 Lakhs per annum
- Investment Officer: Up to ₹27.10 Lakhs per annum
- VP Wealth: Up to ₹44.70 Lakhs per annum
- AVP Wealth: Up to ₹30.20 Lakhs per annum
The annual CTC is negotiable and depends upon the candidate's experience, current emoluments and place of posting. Performance Linked Pay and annual increment are also applicable as per SBI policy.
Contract Period
The contract period is 5 years and may be renewed for another 4 years at the discretion of SBI, subject to fulfilment of applicable conditions. The contract may be terminated by either side by giving two months' notice or payment/surrender of two months' compensation in lieu thereof.

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualification, experience and suitability. Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interview.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The final merit list will be prepared in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview.
Circle Preference
For Relationship Manager-Team Lead, Investment Specialist, Investment Officer, VP Wealth and AVP Wealth posts, candidates are required to indicate three different Circles while submitting the online application. No request for change of Circle preference will be entertained after submission.
