ISRO IPRC Recruitment 2026
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri has released Advertisement No. IPRC/RMT/2026/01 dated 12 September 2026 for recruitment to various Technical Assistant, Technician 'B', Cook 'A' and Fireman 'A' posts.
A total of 22 vacancies are available. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official IPRC website from 15 September 2026 at 10:00 AM to 05 October 2026 at 04:00 PM.

Educational Qualification
Technical Assistant – Automobile Engineering
First Class Diploma in Automobile Engineering from a recognised institution.
Technical Assistant – Mechanical
First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
Technical Assistant – Electronics & Communication
First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
Technician 'B'
Candidates must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard and possess ITI qualification with NTC from NCVT or NAC from NCVT in the relevant trade such as Turner, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Electrician.
Cook 'A'
Candidates must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard and should have 5 years of experience as a Cook in a well-established Hotel or Canteen.
Fireman 'A'
Candidates must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard and must satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards. Applicants are also required to upload the prescribed Preliminary Medical Examination Certificate with their online application.
Age Limit
- Post Codes 60 to 68 and 70: 18 to 35 Years
- Fireman 'A' – Post Code 71: 18 to 25 Years
Age will be calculated as on 05 October 2026.

Salary
- Technical Assistant: Pay Level 7 – ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400
- Technician 'B': Pay Level 3 – ₹21,700 to ₹69,100
- Cook 'A': Pay Level 2 – ₹19,900 to ₹63,200
Selected candidates will also be eligible for applicable Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other benefits as per Government rules.
Application Fee
- Technical Assistant – Post Codes 60 to 62: ₹750
- Technician 'B', Cook 'A' and Fireman 'A' – Post Codes 63 to 68 and 70 to 71: ₹500
The application fee must initially be paid online through the SBI e-Payment gateway.
Application Fee Refund
Refund will be provided only to candidates who appear in the Written Test.
- Female, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are eligible for full refund of the applicable application fee after appearing in the Written Test.
- For Technical Assistant posts, other candidates will receive ₹500 refund, subject to applicable bank charges.
- For other notified posts, other candidates will receive ₹400 refund, subject to applicable bank charges.

- Detailed Medical Examination
The final selection will primarily be based on marks obtained in the Written Test. Skill Test is qualifying in nature.
Written Test Centre
The Written Test will be conducted in offline OMR mode at:

- Chennai
Candidates have to select their preferred examination city while submitting the online application.

- Correct Answer: 1 Mark
- Wrong Answer: 0.33 Mark Deduction
- UR Qualifying Marks: 32 out of 80
- Reserved Category Qualifying Marks: 24 out of 80, where applicable
Cook 'A' Written Test
- Total Questions: 100 MCQs
- Duration: 120 Minutes
- Correct Answer: 1 Mark
- Wrong Answer: 0.25 Mark Deduction
Fireman 'A' Written Test
- Total Questions: 100 MCQs
- Duration: 120 Minutes
- Correct Answer: 1 Mark
- Wrong Answer: 0.25 Mark Deduction
