The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs-XV). The recruitment is being conducted for Group "A" Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group "B" Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in participating Regional Rural Banks across India.

Office Assistant – Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Candidates must also possess proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating Regional Rural Bank. Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.
Officer Scale-I – Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference may be given to candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB and working knowledge of Computer are desirable/required as prescribed.
Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II – Specialist Officers
- IT Officer: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Communication/ Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. One year relevant experience required.
- Chartered Accountant: Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. One year experience as a Chartered Accountant required.
- Law Officer: Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks. Two years' experience as an advocate or Law Officer in a Bank/Financial Institution required.
- Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance. One year relevant experience required.
- Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing. One year relevant experience required.
- Agricultural Officer: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering or Pisciculture with minimum 50% marks. Two years relevant experience required.
Officer Scale-III – Senior Manager
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Preference may be given to candidates having qualifications in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Age Limit
- Office Assistant: 18 to 28 Years
- Officer Scale-I: Above 18 and below 30 Years
- Officer Scale-II: Above 21 and below 32 Years
- Officer Scale-III: Above 21 and below 40 Years

Selection Process
For Office Assistants and Officer Scale-I, the examination will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary Examination followed by Main Examination.
For Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III, candidates will appear for a Single Online Examination followed by Common Interview for shortlisted candidates.
For Office Assistants, provisional allotment will be based on performance in the Online Main Examination and actual vacancies reported by the RRBs. For Officers, candidates qualifying in the relevant online examination and interview will be considered for provisional allotment.

Negative Marking
For every wrong answer in the Objective Tests, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No penalty will be applied for questions left blank.
Interview
Interview is applicable to Officer Scale-I, Scale-II and Scale-III posts. The interview carries 100 marks. The relative weightage of Online Examination and Interview for Officers cadre is 80:20.
